Abstract The wettability preference of carbonate reservoirs is neutral-wet or oil-wet as the prevailing hydrocarbon reserves that affects approximately half total production hydrocarbons world. Therefore, due to surface rocks notable fraction oil held inside their pores in comparison with sandstones. Since shifting toward water-wet system great interest, numerous components were used for this purpose. In experimental research, alteration dolomite by interacting a novel nano-surfactant–alkaline fluid has been investigated order diminish its adhesion crude droplets. solutions prepared homogenous mixing nanosilica particles cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide and sodium carbonate, respectively, cationic surfactant alkaline agent. maximum from water was obtained employing mixture nanoparticles association surfactant–alkaline.
